Laborers.  

 A concrete laborer must perform the following duties.

• Clean out footings with a shovel
• Grade slabs with a shovel and a cum-a-long.
• Run plate compactor.
• Use laser level to check grades and elevations.
• Load and unload materials and tools.
• Place and tie wire mesh and rebar.
• Any other tasks that may be needed.
• A laborer must have a tool pouch and hammer, tape measure, a pair plyers/wire cutters, pencil, and safety glasses.

Concrete Finishers.

Concrete Finishers must perform the following duties.

• Install forms for flat work.
• Use laser level to check grades and elevations.
• Place and tie wire mesh and rebar.
• Screed, bullfloat, and finish concrete.
• Any other tasks that may be needed.
• A concrete finisher must have a tool pouch and hammer, tape measure, a pair plyers/wire cutters, pencil, safety glasses,speed square, mag floats, hand trowels, margin trowel, and  knee boards.

Form Carpenters.

Concrete Form Carpenters must perform the following duties.

• Install forms for flat work.
• Use laser level to check grades and elevations.
• Place and tie wire mesh and rebar.
• Build forms from plywood and two by fours.
• Lay out buildings, footings, rebar, etc.
• Form CIP Columns and Beams.
• Lay and tie rebar for CIP Columns and Beams.
• Any other tasks that may be needed.
• A concrete form carpenter must have a tool pouch and hammer, tape measure, a pair plyers/wire cutters, pencil, safety glasses, and speed square.

Foremen/Leadman.

Concrete Formen/Leadmen must perform the following duties.

• All the duties of the laborer, concrete finisher, and form carpenter.
• All lay out.
• Read blue prints efficiently.
• Work well with others.
